My career involves association with Local and National Charities who support victims and Survivors of Domestic Abuse.
This work has included training volunteers and professionals in Domestic & Sexual Abuse Training. Supporting and developing services for adults and children affected by abuse.

Vivien was awarded Woman of the Year by Blackburn Soroptomists in 2007 for her work with victims/survivors of abuse. She was a finalist in the Lancashire Woman of the Year Award in 2012. I have worked with both male and female victims/survivors and male and female perpetrators.

Training has been commissioned by Community Safety Partnership & Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Children Boards in all aspects of Domestic Abuse, promoting risk assessment in safeguarding adults and children in domestic abuse settings, working with perpetrators and the Marac process protecting high risk victims of domestic abuse.

My career has included project management of two Local authority commissioned Specialist Independent Domestic Violence Advocate’s services including Refuge and Floating Support provision.  More recently developing a victim and perpetrator programme based on the principles of NLP which was well received by clients and commissioners.
